Proportions

Yeah. Surly is mildly inaccurate...in other words, this is far from 'right on'. But I'm willing to gander that it's pretty close, so that's all I need. I was bored, can't seem to draw anything worthwhile, and wanted to work a few things out. This is the 'heads' method, so when you hear someone say "5 head's tall" this is what they mean, far as I know. Anyway, this is how I try to base my proportions, so people can see. (Though I am terrible about making legs like, half-again longer than they should be..) Regardless, I hope you find it useful, and if you don't, well that's OK too. Of course style variations would pronounce a few things more than others, so to each their own. Pretty much just wanted an excuse to get on DeviantArt lol

Food for thought: I believe that the 'average' male is 7 to 8 heads tall, where as the average female is 6-7.

I don't draw females terribly often anymore, so of course I used a male.
